Job Description
Responsibilities/Authorities
Ø Evaluating past due and mismatch commits by evaluating supply/demand requirements
Ø Contacting supplier to obtain best commit date
Ø Updating Showstopper report with best supplier information
Ø Must be proactive and must initiate steps to strengthen process procedures
Ø Drive issues to resolution and good problem-solving skills
Ø Recommend process or documentation improvements
Ø Provide timely status and feedback to the management
Ø To ensure that daily targets are met, and quality is maintained as per SLA / operations metrics
Ø Process as per Desk top procedure guide and timely escalation of issues to the Supervisor
Ø Active participation in team meetings & coordination with team lead / team members
Ø Ability to work effectively in a team environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ø 1-2 years business experience preferably with a focus on Production / Manufacturing Planning
Ø Material Planning experience in an industrial manufacturing environment desired
Ø Mechanical Engineering back ground desired
Ø General PC skills, MS Office (MS Access and Excel)
Ø Mandarin (Chinese) Language skill
Ø Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ø Analytical and detail oriented
Ø BS/BA in Business Management or equivalent
Ø Mechanical Engineering degree desired
Ø Ability to work with minimal guidance
Ø Good business acumen
Ø Basic understanding of Supply Chain/MRP
Ø Understanding of data sensitivity/security
Ø Understanding of industrial manufacturing concepts/process
Ø Decision making skill
Ø Analytical and detail oriented
