System Integration Engineer
Tasks
- Concept and basic layout of combining diesel and gas engines with
emission reduction systems for fulfilling current and future emission
regulations
- Alignment of requirement specification with development, application engineering and customer / field issues
- Development of engine control-functions and -parameters for
aftertreatment systems, e.g. SCR, diesel particulate filter, diesel
oxidation catalysts
- Application of simulation tools as Matlab/Simulink or GT Suite
- Generation of function documentation and validation plans
- Planning, coordination and implementation of subprojects and management of assigned internal and external resources
- Assuring technical support to all relevant internal departments: sales, after sales academy, marketing and communication
- Cooperation with internal and external development partners
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer (Dipl.-Ing. / M.Sc.) or similar
- Experience in engine technology, application and exhaust gas aftertreatment
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink or C-Code
- Good technical knowledge, creativity and awareness
- Team oriented way of working
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English language
