ERC-Assistant Manager/Manager - Engines Design -Pune
Responsibilities:
- • Design calculations for Engine related components/sub-systems/systems
- • Design of Engine related components/sub-systems/systems using CAD tools (ProE)
- • Development of prototype parts to support new Engine development programs
- • Preparation of Digital Mock-up (3D) of Engine assembly
- • To work closely with vehicle integration team for resolution of integration issues
- • Incorporating best benchmark practices at initial design level
- • Benchmarking for continuous improvement on existing design in terms of cost/weight/performance
- • Generation of Innovative design concepts
- • Preparation and maintain BOM (bill of material) for individual projects
- • Continuous improvement in Design based on customer feedback
- • Interaction with vendors for proprietary parts development
- • Participation in CFT (cost reduction, quality improvement etc.)
Requirements:
- • Good understanding of functioning of Engine systems/subsystems
- • Hands-on experience on CAD tools for 3D modelling and 2D drafting is a must (ProE or others)
- • Good understanding of GD&T & Tolerance stack-up
- • Basic know-how of CAE software
- • Hands-on experience of simulation software specific to Engine design is desirable (e.g. AVL Boost, AVL Fire etc.)
- • Hands-on experience on PLM software is desirable
- • Good communication & presentation skills
- • Experience with auto OEM is desirable
