| Job Description | In this highly visible
role, you will utilize your test, DFT, and design skills within
Broadcom’s enterprise networking DFT team, the largest such team in
Broadcom. The enterprise networking group builds the largest and most
complex devices in the company, which offers unique technical
challenges. As a DFT team member, you will specify, design and implement
corporate-wide DFT technologies and methodologies, coordinate and
support their deployment, and play a key role in planning future DFT
initiatives. A successful candidate requires a strong DFT background as
well as a diverse skill set that spans the overall design process. The
responsibilities include developing and implementing at-speed test
techniques across all parts of the designs, including logic, memory,
mixed-signal, and I/O BIST, ATPG compression, custom BIST development,
and 1149.6 AC-JTAG, to achieve the highest levels of test quality
possible within the shortest amount of time. Additionally, you will work
closely with the project DFT, design, library, place and route, and
operations teams to achieve efficient and effective DFT solutions for
low DPPM requirements. The successful candidate will also have a proven
track record as project leader, coordinating and managing the efforts of
other team members. |
| Desired Profile | This position requires a
self-motivated individual with a mix of strong technical and analytical
skills, superb written and oral communication skills, and the ability to
operate in both individual and team environments. The successful

The following are also required: Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering: - B.S. plus 12 years of experience, or - M.S. plus 9 years of experience, or - Ph.D. plus 6 years of experience Strong in depth technical background in DFT: - Scan and ATPG - BIST - Boundary scan (1149.1, 1149.6) - High speed IO and mixed signal test - DFT flow development - Proven DFT track record on large devices Hands on experience with: - RTL coding and design - Verilog/VHDL synthesis - Design verification - Static timing analysis and closure - Scripting languages: shell, tcl, perl, etc. - Production ATE support - Diagnosis and failure analysis for low yield and test escapes Familiarity with: - Physical design - ASIC design flows & methodology - Low power, multi-power domain and mixed-signal design - Test and product engineering, yield analysis and improvement |
